COSine Science Fiction Convention 2013

Join us in Colorado Springs at the foot of Pikes Peak for this gathering of science fiction and fantasy fans, authors, and artists. Our program line-up will include a variety of interesting panels, a great art show, video and animé, dealers room, our annual book raffle, scheduled gaming, an evening dance, and much more. S.M. Stirling as our Guest of Honor!
The astonishingly well-read Steve Stirling had his first book published in 1984 and became a full-time writer in 1988. He lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico with his wife Janet and attendant cats. Steve's latest books are THE COUNCIL OF SHADOWS and THE TEARS OF THE SUN. COSine welcomes our Special Guests, too!
Attending COSine 2013 will be our Special Guests Connie and Courtney Willis. Nebula Grand Master Connie Willis is an award-winning Science Fiction Hall of Fame author, and Courtney will again host his tremendously popular "Ask Doctor Science" event.
COSine is also proud to announce our Science Speaker - physicist and aerospace engineer Jordin Kare, PhD.

Arabian Nights Square Dance
Saturday night will feature, yep, an Arabian Nights Masquerade Square Dance! "How can you DO that?", you ask. Well, come on down Saturday night and see!
Art Show
The art show will feature many outstanding science fiction and fantasy artists and will run every day of the convention. Come view and bid on the amazing artwork, hand-crafted pottery, and more! .

Making it happen!
As always, COSine is run by members of First Friday Fandom. First Friday includes fans with a variety of convention-running experience. Our members hosted SMOFcon 16 here in Colorado Springs, eight previous COSines, numerous KingCons, as well as Denvention 3, the 66th World Science Fiction Convention which was held in Denver in August 2008.
