Update on COSine 2027:
COSine 2027 will be held at the:
Great Wolf Lodge
9494 Federal Dr.
Colorado Springs CO, 80912
Room code: 2701COSI
Room code is now active! Get your room early. The Con rate is about 25% of their usual weekend rate.
All rooms automatically come with water park access. No free breakfast. The hotel has several restaurants including Dunkin’ Donuts and Ben & Jerry’s. There are also numerous restaurants in the area. Omelets Etc is close and good.
Convention Center is on a separate floor from the Water Park. Event space is about twice the size of Embassy Suites.
Other Business:
We voted by acclamation to adopt the following as the First Friday Fandom Mission Statement:
- Read books.
- Be kind.
- Stay weird.
Discussion of having the pre-Con Guests of Honor dinner at Angelo’s Tavern:
- It is no longer close to the Con hotel since we moved to Great Wolf Lodge
- Some people think it is too expensive
- The food is good
- It is very noisy; difficult to have a conversation
