For March we will meet at the home of Kent Bloom and Mary Morman at 1245 Allegheny Drive. Click the Directions tab for a map to their house.
Our theme for books this year is books that were nominated for the Hugo Award, but didn’t win. It includes some great novels that were up against stiff competition in the year they were eligible.
This month we will read Robert Heinlein’s Glory Road (requisite Heinlein reference), which lost to Way Station by Clifford Simak in 1964 for Best Novel. The cover shown is of the first edition.
As usual, several copies of each month’s book are available at the meeting location. If you want to pick one up another time, please call to arrange a time. The phone number is on the Directions page.
